What Type of Attractive Am I? Take the Free Charm Quiz
You have probably been told you are attractive. Maybe a friend said you have "great energy" or someone mentioned you are "easy to talk to" or a stranger complimented your style. But have you ever stopped to ask: what kind of attractive am I?
Because attractiveness is not a single slider from zero to ten. It is a spectrum with multiple dimensions, and most people are strong in some while barely registering in others. Understanding your specific pattern changes everything.
The Problem with "Attractive or Not"
The biggest myth about attraction is that it is binary. This leads to a strange reality where objectively striking people feel invisible because their charm operates on a wavelength the room is not tuned into.
A person with sky-high Intelligence and Trust scores might feel "unattractive" at a loud club because that environment rewards Visual Appeal and Charisma. Put the same person in a small dinner party and they become the gravitational center of every conversation.
The question is never "Am I attractive?" — it is "Where does my attractiveness land, and am I in rooms that let it show?"
The 8 Dimensions of Charm
The Glowtype system breaks attraction into 8 measurable dimensions, mapped on what we call the Glow Octagon:
Visual Appeal is the most obvious — but also the most overweighted in most people's minds. It matters, but it is only one of eight.
Charisma is your ability to hold attention. Some people walk into a room and the conversation rearranges around them. That has almost nothing to do with looks.
Trustworthiness is the speed at which people feel safe around you. High-trust individuals attract loyalty and deep connections that outlast any first impression.
Humor disarms. It creates instant intimacy because laughter requires letting your guard down. People who score high here form bonds faster than almost any other type.
Intelligence in the charm context is not about IQ — it is about the depth other people sense when they talk to you. Do conversations feel richer? That is intelligence as charm.
Approachability determines how easy it is for strangers to engage with you. Some people radiate "come talk to me" energy. Others radiate "earn my attention." Both are valid.
Style is aesthetic consistency. Not fashion-magazine perfection, but the sense that your external presentation reflects something intentional about who you are.
First Impression captures the temperature people feel when they first encounter you. Warm types make people feel immediately comfortable. Cool types create intrigue and curiosity.
Why Knowing Your Type Matters
Once you know which dimensions are your strengths, three things shift:
You stop competing on the wrong axes. If your charm lives in Intelligence and Trust, trying to out-charisma a Social Spark at a networking event is a losing game. Instead, you find the corner conversation where your strengths dominate.
You understand your audience. Different people are attracted to different dimensions. Knowing your type helps you recognize who resonates with your specific glow.
You develop intentionally. Your core type is stable, but weaker dimensions can grow. A Quiet Magnetism who builds their Humor score does not stop being magnetic — they become magnetic and disarming.
Take the Quiz
The Glowtype charm quiz is 12 questions. No sign-up, no paywall, no email required for basic results. It takes about 3 minutes and gives you your full octagon profile.
Fair warning: your result might surprise you. The type you identify as and the type you actually project to others are not always the same thing — and that gap is where the most interesting self-discovery happens.
